It’s that time of year when supermarkets begin promoting their Christmas food ranges. In this article, we’re going to browse Morrisons’ Christmas food range for 2025.
The range features a strong 640+ food products, slightly more than the 500+ items in Asda’s Christmas range, but the real question is: have Morrisons gone for quantity over quantity, or are the products nice tasting and good value for money?
Morrisons Christmas food range
The first item that jumped out at me was The Best Signature Collection Christmas Tree Bone Steak. Is it just a play on words or has the beef been butchered into a tree shape? I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it in the shop to satisfy my curiosity.
It’s more beef, but my eye was also drawn to The Best Signature Collection Slow Cooked 3 Rib of Beef with Beef Dripping & Merlot Red Wine Gravy. My meat-loving heart is very keen on trying that one.
More meat, but at least this one isn’t beef: Morrisons Roast In Bag Turkey Crown Pork Sage & Onion & Bacon (1.8-2.2kg) is an option for the main event. Turkey with a load of stuffing up its backside, wrapped in bacon. It’s not one of your five-a-day, but it’s Christmas – you’re allowed a day off.
You can save money by making your own goose fat roasties, but to save time so you can spend more time with your friends and family on Christmas day, you can buy pre-prepared and frozen ones at Morrisons instead. You can also save time from wrapping pigs in their blankets, much like you’ll be able to whichever supermarket you shop at.
With regards to sweet treats and puddings, there’s plenty to choose from:
- The Best Signature Collection Winter Berry Topped Baked Cheesecake
- The Best Cherry Bakewell Mince Pies, or just normal mince pies
- Cremé Patisserie Filled Christmas Trees
- The Best Signature Collection Limoncello Panettone
Morrisons Free From Christmas range

Having a dietary requirement can be a pain year round, but even more so at Christmas when all you want to do is stuff your face and over indulge. Thankfully, the Free From market has boomed in recent years and the days of sitting and watching people eat their treats and puds are long gone.
Let’s dive into some of the Free From chocs, treats, and desserts in this year’s Christmas range at Morrisons.
- Chocolate Yule Log Slices: £2 for four (120g). These are free from gluten, wheat, and milk. Rice flour, brown rice flour replace white flour, while vegetable oils replace the dairy butter.
- The Best Free From Yule Log: We don’t know the price of this one yet, but as it’s both Free From and part of The Best range, you can expect the price to be higher than other yule logs on the shelf. Unfortunately, it’s only wheat and gluten free, so if you’re lactose intolerant and fancy a yule log, you’ll need to stick to the slices above. As for gluten-free flour, this snow-covered chocolate dessert contains rice flour, buckwheat flour, and cornflour.
- Snowy iced topped mince pies: £2 for four. These are free from gluten, wheat, and milk. Rice flour and brown rice flour are your gluten and wheat free alternative flours, while, again, dairy-based fats are replaced by vegetable oils.
- Christmas pudding: There are three options for Christmas pudding in the Free From range this year: two 100g, personal-size puddings and one 400g sharer. The 400g is free from gluten and milk, while only one of the personal sized ones is – the option from The Best range is only gluten free. So double check the labels before you buy. Let’s look at the ingredients for the 400g Christmas pudding: for flour alternatives, you’ve got rice flour, gram flour, and brown rice flour; for the dairy alternative, you’ve got vegetable oils.
- The Best Free From Belgian Chocolate, Salted Caramel, and Honeycomb Giant Snowflake Tiffin centrepiece: Now this is the big boy. You get a 605g chocolate, caramel, and honeycomb tiffin in the shape of a snowflake. If you’re in the South of England, this snowflake will probably be the only one you see on Christmas day. It’s free from gluten, milk, and egg. We’ll be giving this one a go when it becomes available to buy.
- The Best Free From Creme Brulee Flavour Blonde Choc Truffles: For a little snack after dinner, you could try these creme brulee white chocolate truffles. You get a 90g box for a fiver, so they’re not the cheapest truffle box on the shelf. But, as you know, the more dietary-alternatives a food contains, the higher the price and this one has them all: free from gluten, wheat, milk, and egg.
