The air fryer bandwagon has been and gone. By now, most people know what they want in an air fryer and are clued up about what features they need in their second.

It’s well known that prices are bumped up before sales events, only to be slashed back to their original price with a “MEGA SAVINGS!” sticker claiming the new price is a great deal. Amazon, with its quarterly sales weeks, is well known for this. Proper Ninja air fryer deals are hard to come by.

To help you avoid the crap air fryer deals, we’re going to keep a running page showing you how much popular air fryers cost at different points in the year, so you can decide for yourself whether Amazon Spring Sale, Prime Day or Black Friday deals are truly saving you money.

We’ll also update this page with true air fryer deals, whether they’re available directly from the brand, a retailer, or on Amazon.

How to spot a deal

Camel Camel Camel

For Amazon deals, install Camel Camel Camel’s Camelizer extension on your browser. This extension tracks the price of each product, meaning you can see how the price has changed over the past months and years. You can also see the product’s average price and see certain points in the year where the price tends to be cut.

For air fryers, find the particular model you want, click the open the Camelizer extension window, and have a look. You can open the window into a full page for more information. For example, our air fryer of choice, the Ninja Crispi, is currently available for £124.

Manually track the price

Go old school. Note the price of the air fryer you want, compare it at a few different retailers, then come back in a couple of months and note the price again.

This method will take you a lot longer than hopping on Camel Camel Camel, but you might also save money by getting bored and not buying an air fryer at all.

When you spy the price at a number you can afford, it’s time to finally buy it.

Check different retailers

Again, know the specific model, or at least the type of air fryer, you want before beginning.

Pick retailers you like and trust. Some shops, like John Lewis, tend to list products with a higher price than, say, Argos. For own-brand stuff, the quality will generally be better from the former, but for branded items, it’ll be the same wherever you buy it from.

You can buy air fryers from most UK supermarkets, Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Very, Amazon, your local household or gadget store, and some multipurpose home and clothing retailers, like Next. Find a few which stock your future air fryer and note its current price at each.

Once noted, check the price every so often. Then, like we said above, buy it when it hits a price affordable to you. This won’t always be during a dedicated sales period, as demand is high during summer sales, Amazon Prime Day, and Black Friday, so cutting the price isn’t beneficial to the retailer. When demand is low, the price will match.

The only exception is Clearance sales. If you opt for an older model of the air fryer you’re after, then you’ll be able to save money by snapping it up during a clearance sale. Often, there isn’t much change between one generation and the next, so you might find the one before has all the features and settings you need.

Current air fryer deals

At Simple & Homely, we’ve got access to three Ninja air fryers.

The Foodi Max Multi-Cooker belongs to Sydney, the Foodi Dual Drawer belongs to Cherie, and we borrow the Crispi from Nan (Cherie’s mum) when we want to test it.
