It’s time to start thinking about Christmas – what drinks you want to take to parties, gift, or have for an after dinner tipple – and Baileys’ new flavours for 2025 definitely piqued a bit of interest.
With one released early September and the other on the 15th of the same month, Baileys turned the mood Christmas’s quite early on. If you head to your local Sainsbury’s, there’s a chance you’ll find both, but as we found out, the second flavour was far harder to find…
At the start of September, Baileys realised a Cinnamon Swirl version of their famed Irish cream liqueur. This flavour gives the usually creamy drink a spiced twist. As you would expect from something containing cinnamon.
With an alcohol volume of 17%, it matches the Original flavour, but comes with a £3 higher price tag (when comparing the 70cl bottle). Unlike the Original flavour, however, the limited edition Cinnamon Swirl is only available exclusively at Sainsbury’s.

Now onto Baileys next limited edition winter flavour: Terry’s Chocolate Orange. Unlike the cinnamon bottle, this one isn’t available exclusively at Sainsbury’s – it’s also available at other UK supermarkets… if you can find it!
If you’re an Amazon shopper, you’ll be able to get a bottle of Terry’s Chocolate Orange x Baileys for £16.50. However, if you dust off and take your supermarket loyalty card on an afternoon out, you can save £5.50 and put it your trolley for £11, providing you go to Tesco or Sainsbury’s.
But, if you’re a fan of spending more money that you have to, head to Morrisons where it could be yours for £17. The six quid you save by shopping at a Morrisons rival could get you a couple of packs of Baileys Chocolate Caramel Whirls or a large tub of Cadbury Heroes (we know you’ve got a Clubcard, that’s why you’re thinking about all the things you could buy with the money you save).
The Terry’s Chocolate version is the same 17% as all other Baileys bottles, but this time, the bottle is 20cl smaller. Your £16.50 will get you a 50cl bottle, rather than the 70cl of the Cinnamon Swirl above.
What does the Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange taste like?

Like a Jaffa Cake.
When we finally managed to buy it, we poured it over ice and each tried a bit. Each person mentioned the Jaffa Cake aftertaste – the inital flavour was chocolate Baileys. It was determined that one would be more than enough with your dinner. The orange makes it a perfect pairing for an after Christmas dinner digestif, or even to have poured over some ice cream to make a dessert.
If you like that, great! If not, then this won’t be the Baileys flavour for you.
What other Baileys flavours are there?
If neither of this year’s new releases do it for you, then you can always try out one of the many other flavours Baileys sells.
- Original Irish Cream
- Baileys Chocolate
- Baileys Toffee Popcorn (yes, we know. This was released in May 2025)
- Baileys Espresso Cream
- Baileys Salted Caramel
- Baileys Birthday Cake
- Baileys Deliciously Light
- Baileys Apple Crumble
There’s plenty for you to try this winter, whether you opt for the classic over ice, or if you fancy experimenting with one of the many recipes on the Baileys website.
Happy drinking! (Keep it responsible.)
