Having one of the best dehumidifiers in your house can work wonders when it comes to drying laundry indoors over the winter, especially in the UK where the weather is more-often-than-not wet and humid.
The downside is, however, that all of the best and highly recommended dehumidifiers come with a large price tag. We like to do things on a budget at Simple & Homely, so I’ve been scouring the internet for some of the best Black Friday deals on dehumidifiers.
Below, you’ll find a selection of dehumidifiers, a quick rundown of some of their key features, and how much money you can save in this Black Friday deals period. Where possible, I’ve also tried to include when the deal expires, but, as you can probably guess, dehumidifiers are going to be a popular purchase, so even if the deal is live, the product might’ve long sold out.

Morphy Richards 3L Dehumidifier – Was £99.99, Now £69.99
With a small, three litre capacity, it’s better suited to flats, bathrooms, single rooms, or caravans than people with large, open plan rooms. It has a timer ranging from eight to 48 hours, a full tank reminder, sleep mode with a low fan speed, and a high speed for laundry day. The Morphy Richards dehumidifier has a 5 star review on Very.
The deal?
On Very, it has a £29 discount, so you can get it for £70. Or, you can save a penny and get it on Amazon for £69.99. When we first published this article, it was £66 on Amazon, so you’ve missed the best deal.
DAEWOO COL1671GE 16L Dehumidifier – Was £179, Now £119
With a 16 litre tank, the Daewoo COL1611 is a better choice for whole home use. It’ll still need to be emptied more regularly than its 20 or 40 litres competition, but this will easily speed up laundry drying (or clearing your bathroom of hot shower steam). It has a 5 star review at Currys.
The 12-litre model is currently out of stock, but you can save £60 on its 16-litre big brother, which has a 4.5 star review with Currys.
EasyAcc 1200ml Electric Dehumidifier – Was £58.99, Now £46.99
Now, if you thought the three litre Morphy Richards below wasn’t small enough, you can get this even tinier EasyAcc electric dehumidifier. Its 1.2-litre tank will make it ideal for a car with leaky sills, a boiler room, garage or shed, or closet. This EasyAcc collects 400ml a day, so you’ll need to be prepared to empty the tank a lot, especially if your house is full of wet laundry or damp.
You’ve missed the best deal on this – it was £37 a few days ago, but it’s still cheaper than usual.
EasyAcc do a good selection of powerful handheld fans, great for keeping cool in summer, so keep an eye out for any Black Friday deals to get one early.
De’Longhi DEXD214RF Dehumidifier – Was £299, Now £190
With a 14-litre capacity, digital display, limescale filter, timer, and one year warranty, the De’Longhi DEXD214RF has earned its 5 star customer review on AO.
For Black Friday, AO has discounted it to £190.
Bush D015B 16L Dehumidifier – Was £160, Now £106.67

Pro Breeze OmniDry 12L Quiet Low Energy Dehumidifier – Was £149.99, Now £129.99

It’s ultra quiet, an efficient 5p an hour to run, has an in-built 24 hour timer 24 hour, and automatically controls your house’s humidity levels. If you buy it directly from Pro Breeze, you can save yourself £20, a fiver more for Cyber Monday than Black Friday.
Amazon’s choice: Leenon 12L/Day Dehumidifier
I can’t find out much about Leenon outside of Amazon, so I can’t promise anything when it comes to its performance. Conduct your own research before buying.
It currently has a 15% discount on Amazon for Black Friday, so at the moment you’ll pay £84.99 rather than the usual £99.99.
Benefits of a dehumidifier
If a deal has caught your eye but you’re still not sure whether you need a dehumidifier, I’ve listed a few of the benefits here:
A dehumidifier is used to remove excess moisture from the air, a big problem in UK homes. In doing so, it slows the growth of mould and mildew, as well as reducing the occurrence of musty odours.
Having low humidity in your home will also help come winter, when drying your clothes indoors becomes a necessity – especially if you don’t have a tumble dryer. But even if you do have a tumble dryer, hanging your clothes on an airer and using a dehumidifier is a more cost effective, yet far longer, method of getting your clothes dry.
Dehumidifiers can cost between 7p to 30p per hour. Drying your clothes indoors can take anywhere between two to six hours with a dehumidifier, depending on the thickness and density of the materials you’re trying to dry.
