Potato wedges in the Ninja Crispi

How to cook potato wedges from frozen in the Ninja Crispi

1–2 minutes

Most frozen wedges have air fryer cooking instructions on the back of the packet these days, however not all do. And even so, you might be wondering whether there were any differences for your specific type of air fryer. Well, if you’ve got a Ninja Crispi, this guide is for you.

How many people can you feed?

Frozen potato wedges layered in the large Ninja Crispi container

In the large container, we made enough potato wedges for five people of varying appetites sizes. You could feed six at a push.

For one or two people, use the smaller container.

Cooking method

  1. Add your frozen potato wedges to the large container, making sure the crisper plate is in place. Don’t worry too much if the wedges overlap, as you’ll be repositioning them in step 3. The more you layer them up, the more often you’ll need to give them a shake
  2. Set the cooking mode to Air Fry and increase the time to 16 minutes, then press start
  3. At the eight minute mark, remove the Crispi lid and give the container a shake (or flip them over with a spatula or some tongs)
  4. Restart the timer
  5. When the timer dings, they’ll be nice and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. You can put them back in for another 2-3 minutes if you prefer the exterior to have a darker crisp
