From May, you’ll be able to head Sainsbury’s and buy the adult equivalent of a Dairylea Dunker: a Pilgrams Choice Dip & Dunk snack pot.
The Dip & Dunk pots are sold in a triple pack (52g each) and will cost you £2.85. While you won’t be able to find them in stores until May, you can get them delivered in your online shop right now.
Sticks of cheese with adult dips. What could be better?
In Sainsbury’s at the moment, you can get the Chedder Dip & Dunk with Roasted Red Pepper Dip (£2.85), but if you wait a bit, a second flavour combo will make its way onto the shelves: a Red Leicester with Mango Chutney Dip snack pot.
Nicola Blackmore-Squires, Ornua Foods UK & Europe marketing director commented:“At Pilgrims Choice our mission is simple: we ‘dare dairy to be different’ and when it comes to snacking, our new Dip & Dunk range does just this by inspiring consumers to steer clear of the bland and explore new exciting flavour combinations.”
“Adult snacking is developing rapidly. However, while adults are snacking more our research shows they are also feeling underserved by bland and often overprocessed options. The launch of our new moreish Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk range is set to address this by delivering a more natural, more tasty and more satisfying snack all in a convenient and easy to use pack.”
It’s fair to say, with my body’s constant desire to consume more and more dairy, I will undoubtably be giving these Dip & Dunk pots a go.
