Popcorn Shed launch five new flavours in their gluten-free snack pack range

1–2 minutes

While much of Popcorn Shed’s range is gluten free, the brand is launching dedicated gluten-free snack packs, great for lunchboxes, on-the-go snacking or controlled sofa snacking.

Available now, these affordable packs can be found direct at Popcorn Shed and at some dedicated stockists. Unfortunately, you can’t just pop to your local supermarket to try a pack.

Each individual 24g pack costs £1.99 and there’s a choice of five flavours:

  • Cinnamon Roll popcorn
  • Cookies & Cream popcorn
  • Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing popcorn
  • Classic Gourmet Caramel
  • Caramel with Shortbread Crumbs popcorn

That’s a lot of things beginning with ‘C’.

Those aren’t the only flavours, though, with the new flavours joining some existing ones, such as Cheddar Cheese, Berry-licious (finally, a different letter!), and Pecan Pie.

The gluten-free tag will appeal to a lot of people, but I’m also going to take a look at each pack’s sugar content for our diabetic readers:

A 24g snack pack of Carrot Cake popcorn contains 9g of sugar; the Cinnamon Roll and the Caramel Shortbread ones both contain 9.1g; the Cookies & Cream have a slightly higher 9.6g; and the Caramel has 9.17g.

The flavourings definitely add a fair bit of sugar, so if you want it, account for it accordingly.
