Innocent introduces three dessert smoothies to range

1–2 minutes

New and available in Tesco, Innocent have just launched three new flavours to their smoothie range, but this time, it’s all about desserts.

These smoothies are completely plant-based and free from artifical flavours, added sugar and sweeteners, and despite being inspired by afters, are still one of your 5-a-day. Since each new drink is made from a blend of fruit and coconut milk, that claim is entirely plausible.

The three flavours sound quite appealing, to be fair:

  • Like strawberry cupcakes
  • A bit like lemon pie
  • Blueberry muffin-ish

Choose between 250ml single-serving bottles for £2.50 or a 750ml bottle for £4. The new dessert smoothie range is exclusively on Tesco shelves until September, when Innocent rolls them out to the rest of the UK supermarkets.

When I get my hands on a bottle, I’ll come back and update this article with the sugar content of each flavour, as well as the measures of carbs, protein and fibre in each drink. But for now, head to Tesco and hope to find them with the rest of the Innocent range down the chilled drinks aisle.
