Until April the 28th, M&S is bringing back their springtime dine-in meal deal, Cook With Dine In. For a tenner, choose a main meal and two sides for an easy dinner for two.
It’s a decent selection of dinners, too. I’ve tried the honey, soy and ginger chicken breasts (I served mine with some noodles) and it did a good job of filling me up. It also helps that it tasted nice.
What mains are there?
There are four chicken breast meals, one beef and pork meatballs, one gammon, one salmon, and one sea bass with chilli and lime butter. Vegetarians have a really vast selection to choose from: vegetable ratatouille and potato & vegetable bake. Fill your boots.
How about the sides?
Green vegetable medley, creamed spinach, swede and carrot crush, buttery mash, parmentier potatoes, fries, mixed beans, and a mixed bag of peas and carrots.
Quite a choice – mostly traditional flavours. It would be nice to have a pasta side to go with the meatballs, but it’s easy to cook your own and use the sides you choose in the meal deal another time.
